Lora Bay is seeking professional and reliable Golf Shop Attendants to join our team in Thornbury. The Golf Shop Attendant ensures the enjoyment and first-class experience of our members and guests, while maintaining policies, procedures, and golf shop operations. Full-time or part-time positions are available, starting immediately through October. Key Responsibilities: Opening and closing the Pro Shop, including nightly reporting and pass-along Maintaining Pro Shop cleanliness and tidiness at all times Maintaining displays and rotate merchandise on a regular basis to ensure a fresh look in the Pro Shop, sell Pro Shop merchandise Attending to the reservations line, book tee times and answering inquiries Deliver excellent customer service in a friendly and professional manner Perform all duties in accordance with daily procedures Assisting members/guests with questions and concerns Staying in constant contact with the Outside Services team Contributing to the coordination of all member and guest events and functions Maintaining the communications book Handling guest complaints in a friendly and professional manner, report complaints to the Head Golf Professional Assisting the Outside Services team when required Performing all other duties as assigned Qualifications: High school-level English communication skills Prior experience in golf or front desk operations an asset Prior retail experience an asset Excellent public relations skills Must excel in customer service Proven organizational skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills and a proven ability to work well in a team environment Be neat and professional in appearance Approach responsibilities in an organized and energetic manner Proficiency with Microsoft Office required Work Arrangement: Work under pressure Work in a fast-paced environment Work indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions Must be able to lift 25 lbs Long periods of standing on your feet Must be willing to work morning shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays Compensation: Pay: Starting at $18.00 per hour (based on experience) Vacancy Status: Replacement Vacancy Interested?
