JOB POSTING MISC 26/27 – 08 Substitute Educational Assistants (Must be available to serve all wards) Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools is located on the original lands of the Cree, those of Treaty 6, and on the homeland of the Métis nation. Position: Substitute educational assistants are needed to work in St. Albert, Morinville and Legal. Qualifications & Duties Committed to being a model and witness to Christ-centered education values and beliefs. Apply foundational knowledge about First Nations, Métis and Inuit for the benefit of all students, and support the Division's goals towards advancing Truth and Reconciliation. Preference will be given to applicants who have: Completed the Education Assistant Program at MacEwan University or equivalent post- secondary training. Experience assisting with children with diverse needs. Non-violent crisis intervention, First Aid, and CPR training would be an asset. Requirements
Preference is given to candidates who have completed an Education Assistant Program or equivalent post-secondary training. Certification in First Aid, CPR, and non-violent crisis intervention is considered an asset.
