Job Summary Provide architectural design and technical documentation for building projects across multiple sectors. Collaborate with clients, consultants, and construction teams to deliver code-compliant, functional, and sustainable buildings. Number of Positions 2 Main Duties Develop architectural concepts and design solutions from schematic design through construction administration. Prepare and produce architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents using CAD/BIM software. Coordinate design work with structural, mechanical, electrical engineers and other consultants to integrate building systems. Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, zoning bylaws, accessibility standards, and sustainability requirements. Attend client meetings, present design proposals and revisions, and incorporate stakeholder feedback into project deliverables. Conduct site visits and inspections during construction, review contractor submittals, and respond to requests for information. Requirements Professional degree in architecture from an accredited program. Registered architect or eligible for registration with the provincial regulatory authority. Minimum of three years of experience in building design and construction documentation. Proficiency with CAD/BIM software, such as Revit and AutoCAD, and construction documentation workflows. Demonstrated knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, permitting processes, and accessibility requirements. Strong communication, coordination, and project management skills with the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
