Job Summary Provide general labour support to skilled trades and construction teams on site. Perform physically demanding tasks and maintain a safe, organized work area. Number of Positions 9 Main Duties Assist skilled tradespersons with material handling, tool preparation, and task setup. Load, unload, move and stack construction materials and equipment by hand or using basic lifting aids. Operate hand and basic power tools under supervision for cutting, drilling, sanding, and fastening tasks. Prepare and maintain clean, safe job sites by removing debris, setting up barriers, and controlling dust. Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete, mortar, and asphalt as directed. Measure, mark, and assist with basic installation, assembly, and on-site adjustments according to instructions. Requirements Ability to perform physical labour, including lifting heavy materials, bending, and standing for extended periods. Previous experience in construction, trades assistance, or general labour is an asset. Basic familiarity with hand and power tools and safe operating practices. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions and work cooperatively in a team. Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and travel between job sites as required. Valid safety certifications (e.g., WHMIS, fall protection) or willingness to obtain required site safety training.
