Position Overview Under the direction of the Night Manager, the night auditor is responsible for the nightly audit functions which support the hotel operation by determining the daily income of the property and verifying that all customer accounts are correct and balanced. Also responsible for providing customer service to both internal and external customers. Education And Experience Verify and balance daily charges for all departments to customer folios, master accounts and house accounts; make corrections as necessary ensuring all required documentation is obtained Provide value added service to customers by doing whatever reasonable and possible to meet and exceed customer expectations Balance the rooms audit with the night clerk’s summary Communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors Run computer through nightly processing sequence to reset for next day’s use in balancing of applicable functions Handle all guest situations in the absence of management Minimum of 1 year guest services related experience in a related industry. Minimum 1 year experience with Opera Property Management System Minimum of 1-year previous hotel experience. Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Ability to work independently – great initiative and working with a team Strong guest relations experience with the ability to handle guest situations Flexible, positive and energetic with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced work environment Strong data entry, analytical, and communication skills Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, network systems, and Micros Opera software Ability to prioritize and to meet all deadlines Must be willing to work all shifts, evenings, weekends and holidays Must be able to stay focused, courteous, and energetic during the overnight shift from 11pm to 7am. Requirements

Candidates must have at least one year of experience in hotel guest services and proficiency with the Opera Property Management System. The role requires the ability to work independently during the 11pm to 7am shift and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
