Job Summary: The General Helper will be responsible for preparing, presenting and serving meals, drinks, ensuring the quality of the food and overall presentation. The hourly wage for this role is $17.75. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Further details regarding our total rewards offerings will be shared by the Talent Acquisition team during the hiring process. Canadian work experience is not a requirement for this role. Please note that artificial intelligence–based tools may be used at certain stages of the recruitment and applicant screening process. Now, if you were to come on board as one of our General Helpers, we’d ask you to do the following for us: * Conduct work in accordance with safety standards. * Welcome customers by determining their coffee interests and needs * Educate customers by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu, answering questions * Prepare coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as, espresso, cafe latte, and cappuccino * Perform general cleaning duties; remove trash and garbage to designated areas. * Distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment. * Assure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements. * Ability to work in various workstations including meal distribution area (packaging). * Willing to learn skid wrapping of finished product. * Food preparation and cooking as needed Think you have what it takes to be one of our General Helpers? Minor heavy lifting may be involved (up to 40 lb.)
