What We Offer Competitive hourly wage from $26.72/hour to $44/hour based on experience and collective agreement Weekly pay Full benefits package including health, dental, and vision after probationary period Pension and RRSP program as per collective agreement Annual wage increases as per collective agreement Paid vacation and statutory holidays as per collective agreement Subsistence and travel allowances when working away from home (tax free where applicable) Tools, PPE, and training provided or available at reduced cost Strong overtime opportunities Long term career growth and apprenticeship support Main Responsibilities Read and interpret structural drawings and blueprints Cut, bend, assemble, and install reinforcing steel Tie and secure rebar according to specifications Install rebar in footings, walls, slabs, columns, and other structures Handle and move materials, including lifting up to 50 lbs Work with cranes and rigging equipment when required Work collaboratively with team members to meet deadlines Follow all health and safety procedures Work in a fast paced construction environment Work outdoors in all weather conditions About You The ideal candidate is reliable, motivated, and willing to work in a hands-on trade environment. Experience or assets Previous construction or labour experience is an asset but not required Willingness to learn rebar installation, tying, and basic construction methods Strong work ethic and reliability Commitment to safe work practices Requirements WHMIS certification required CSTS-2020 required Must be registered with Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AIT) Journeyperson certification is an asset or must enter apprenticeship program Ability to perform physically demanding work including lifting up to 50 lbs Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions AGF is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
