Personal Qualities sought ✅ Physical fitness ✅ Assiduous ✅ Autonomous ✅ Accountable and dependable YOUR BIG RESPONSABILITIES Flexible Schedule-option of working 4 on 4 off or 7 on 7 off Committed to a top performance in a safe work environment Carrying out duties assigned by the maintenance supervisor Completing scheduled work and Preventative Maintenance work (PM) work Troubleshooting and repairing equipment problems Keeping detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation Repairing or replacing chains; belt conveyors' gear boxes/drive chains; hydraulic & pneumatics; welding/cutting and using power tools Adhering to workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliance Other duties and responsibilities as assigned pertaining to the job REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFICATIONS AND ASSETS - TECHNICAL KNOLEDGE AND GENERIC SKILLS High School diploma (grade 12) or equivalent Good safety and attendance record Detail oriented with the ability to follow exact procedures Highly motivated team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Experience in a manufacturing or an industrial environment is an asset Flexibility to meet changing needs within the business UPCOMING PROJECTS Plaster Rock Lumber Corporation prides itself on its dedicated staff, reputation for high-quality products, and long-term customer relationships.
