Based in Montréal and under the responsibility of the Technical Supervisor, the Building Operator performs the following tasks: Ensure the maintenance and proper functioning of various systems (electricity, heating, plumbing, piping, HVAC, fire protection). Analyze and adjust these systems as needed. Ensure their compliance with building codes and standards. Take the initiative to perform minor repairs, general maintenance, and other tasks of varying complexity. Respond to calls organized by the dispatcher, such as: discomfort due to temperature, water infiltration, ventilation noises, tripped circuit breakers, faulty outlets, etc. Perform preventive work during regular hours as determined by the team’s needs. Be available during certain pre-established periods to respond to emergency calls. Coordinate some tasks performed by workers. Prioritize health and safety during interventions while following the procedures and methods in place within the building. Maintain good relationships with various building stakeholders and proudly represent the image of MACH. Perform all other related tasks. Qualifications: Hold at least a high school diploma. A vocational diploma in building maintenance is an asset. Possess three (3) years of experience in a similar role. A versatile, open-minded, resourceful, and autonomous individual who enjoys working in a team. Customer service excellence orientation.
