The assembler/fabricator will assemble and install air conditioning systems while performing sheet metal fabrication and non-structural welding. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate paperwork and providing customer service records.

Hammond Air Conditioning in Ingersoll is looking for a hardworking motivated employee to fill the role of assembler / fabricator on our team. Hammond Air Conditioning manufactures air conditioning systems and sells parts for the heavy equipment, heavy truck, mining, marine and agriculture industries. The successful candidate should have a strong attention to detail, be customer oriented and willing to be trained. Key Roles And Responsibilities Assemble and install air conditioning systems Follow engineering drawings and technical specifications Perform basic sheet metal fabrication Perform non-structural welding as required Possess strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude Operate hand tools, grinders, soldering torches, and lathes Previous mechanical experience considered an asset Previous fabrication skills considered an asset Maintain accurate paperwork and customer service records Willing to travel and work on the road as required Perform other related duties as required Benefits Health, Dental and Vision Plan Employee Assistance Program Life Insurance Paid time off Skills Customer Oriented Teamwork Problem Solving Strong Attention to Detail Continuous Learner Self-Starter First aid certification an asset Must possess valid drivers license in good standing Computer skills
