Hammond Air Conditioning in Ingersoll is looking for a hardworking employee to fill the role of Mobile Air Conditioning (A/C) Technician on our team. Hammond Air Conditioning manufactures air conditioning systems and sells parts for the heavy equipment, heavy truck, mining, marine and agriculture industries. The successful candidate should have air conditioning and mechanical knowledge. Key Roles And Responsibilities Perform A/C service on heavy equipment, agriculture equipment, and highway trucks Conduct diagnostics if A/C issues to make effective and accurate repairs Install A/C systems on heavy equipment, agriculture equipment and highway trucks Assemble A/C systems prior to installation Possess mechanical knowledge of vehicles Maintaining knowledge of current industry best practices Maintain accurate paperwork and customer records Operate hand tools, grinders, soldering torch, lathe Fabrications skills an asset Willing to travel and work on the road when required Other duties as required Education 3-5 years’ experience required Benefits Health, Dental and Vision Plan Employee Assistance Program Life Insurance Paid time off Skills Customer Oriented Teamwork Problem Solving Strong Attention to Detail Continuous Learning Self-Starter First aid certification an asset Must possess valid drivers license in good standing Computer skills Mechanics license an asset

Requirements

Requires 3-5 years of experience with strong mechanical knowledge and a valid driver's license. A mechanics license and first aid certification are considered assets.
