Qualifications: * Candidate will be required to successfully complete GoMedic Training * Full compliance with the qualification requirements of the Ambulance Act. * Graduated from a college, hospital-based or other recognized program in emergency medical technology and emergency health care with an Advanced Care Paramedic Certificate. * Successful completion of the Ontario Ministry of Health Advanced Care Certification Exam * Experience in an emergency medical service as an Advanced Care Paramedic is preferred * Successful completion of a pre-placement physical agility evaluation. * Good interpersonal skills and ability to work efficiently as part of a professional team. * Ability to provide effective and sensitive care to patients. * Class “F” Driver’s License. * Willingness to participate in service enhancements. * Ability to work all shifts. * Willing to participate in field placements of paramedic students. * Other duties as assigned.
