KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Prepare and cook meals according to approved menus, recipes, and quality standards. * Lead and coordinate kitchen staff during daily operations. * Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations. * Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation standards. * Assist with ordering, receiving, and inventory management. * Train and mentor new employees on kitchen procedures and company policies. * Support scheduling and task delegation to ensure efficient kitchen operations. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. * Respond to customer and client requests in a professional manner. * Assist management with operational improvements and cost-control initiatives. QUALIFICATIONS * Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment. * Leadership or supervisory experience preferred. * Food Handler Certification required (or willingness to obtain). * Strong knowledge of food preparation, food safety, and sanitation procedures. * Excellent communication and team-building skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. * Ability to lift, carry, and stand for extended periods.
