Your New Role Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, the Accounting Supervisor will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of a large, multi-faceted business while partnering closely with operational and corporate finance stakeholders. Leading a small finance team, you will oversee day-to-day accounting activities, financial reporting, budgeting support, forecasting, reconciliations, cash management, and audit coordination. This is a highly visible and hands-on position offering exposure to both accounting and operational finance, making it an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant, Team Lead, or Accounting Supervisor looking to advance their career. Key responsibilities include: Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger activities, reconciliations, and cash controls Prepare and review daily, weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports Support budgeting and forecasting processes and provide financial analysis to support decision-making Monitor financial performance, labour costs, departmental spending, and operational trends Perform revenue and cost reconciliations across multiple business areas Support month-end and year-end close processes Coordinate audit requirements and maintain strong internal controls Partner with department leaders to improve financial performance and accountability Contribute to process improvement initiatives and reporting enhancements Assist with financial analysis to support operational and strategic objectives What You'll Need to Succeed To be considered for this opportunity, you will possess: 3+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience Strong month-end accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting skills Experience working with ERP systems Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities Strong communication and stakeholder management skills A detail-oriented and process-driven approach Previous leadership, supervisory, or mentoring experience would be considered an asset Experience within hospitality, retail, food & beverage, or other operationally focused environments would be advantageous Exposure to business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI would be beneficial What You'll Get in Return In return, you will join a stable and growing organization that offers excellent exposure to operational finance and business partnering in a dynamic environment.
