Your New Role As Supervisor, Document Services Group, you will oversee evening document production operations, lead and develop a team of document services professionals, manage workflow and client relationships, and ensure complex legal and business documents are delivered accurately, efficiently and to a consistently high standard. Manage the intake, assessment and prioritisation of document production and support requests. Oversee day-to-day workload, staffing coverage, attendance, service quality and operational continuity across shifts. Coach, train and develop staff, including performance management, hiring support and onboarding. Act as a key liaison with internal clients to address workflow concerns, resolve issues and maintain strong service relationships. Compile activity statistics and reports, identify process improvements, and recommend procedural changes. Provide hands-on document production support when required, including formatting, transcription, scanning, mail merges, presentations, tables, graphs, cross-references and indexing. Develop style sheets, macros, templates and training materials while staying current with document-production technology. What You'll Need to Succeed A college diploma in office administration, legal administration or a related field. 6-10 years of relevant document services experience, ideally within legal or professional services. 3-5 years of supervisory experience, with demonstrated success leading, coaching and developing staff. Advanced document production, transcription, proofreading and editing skills, with exceptional attention to detail. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, conflict-management and negotiation capabilities. The ability to remain composed under pressure, manage competing priorities and deliver within tight timelines. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; French fluency is an asset. Flexibility to support varying schedules, including weekends and statutory holidays where required.
