Job summary
Role and Facility Information This position provides the opportunity to live, work & play in the beautiful Shuswap! Our Community Health Care Centre is situated in Scotch Creek and provides Allied & Primary Health Care Services to the seven communities along the shores of the North Shuswap. The clinic is well equipped and well staffed with Medical Office Assistants, a Primary Care Supervisor, a Clinical Counsellor, and an Executive Director who manages the overall operations of the health center. Our team also consists of regular locum doctors who provide coverage in our shared care clinic and contract doctors who manage individual patient panels. Allied health includes on site bi-weekly lab services, registered massage therapy, foot care nurse, and various community resources. The North Shuswap Seniors & Community Resource Centre is attached to the clinic and provides resources to the community, education and a support network for seniors in the community. A pharmacy is also located next to the health center and the Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops is approximately an hour away. The North Shuswap offers a relaxed, natural lifestyle with easy access to Salmon Arm & Kamloops. What you’ll do

Requirements
Must hold a full license from the College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC). Mandatory certifications include the Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) and membership in the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA).
