Registration with the Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA) is preferred Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate is required. Ministry of Labour “Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps” training certificate is required Experience: Minimum of six (6) months of experience working as a Personal Support Worker in a hospital setting Knowledge/Skills/Ability: Demonstrated interpersonal / communication skills Current certification in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) and Gentle Persuasion Approaches to DementiaCare (GPA) are assets Selection Process: Candidates will be selected for this position on the basis of their skill, ability, experience and qualifications as identified in the resume and completed Application Form submitted. Requirements

Requires a Personal Support Worker certificate and at least six months of hospital experience. Candidates must hold current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification and complete mandatory health and safety training.
