The Registered Practical Nurse collaborates with the Registered Nurse to provide safe hemodialysis treatments for patients with End Stage Renal Disease. Responsibilities include performing machine checks, monitoring patient vitals, administering medications, and maintaining clinical equipment. Candidates must hold a two-year diploma in Practical Nursing and a current certificate of competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario. A minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare environment and current BCLS/AED certification are required.
