Human Resources Exemption: No Experience * Experience working with mental health and addiction community outreach Education * Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) Licenses * Valid Class 5 driver's license Competencies * Cultural competency * Computer skills Knowledge and Abilities * Knowledge of community resources including treatment programs & support agencies * Knowledge in various intervention strategies for individuals and groups * Ability to prepare reports in a clear, concise and timely manner. * Ability to enter and retrieve data in computer database systems * Demonstrates critical thinking, problem solving, conflict resolution skills * Knowledge and practical application of the Mental Health Services Act and Health Information Protection Act and other legislation * Exp. in mental health & addictions community outreach & crisis interventions * Able to work independently in a self motivated manner & respond under pressure * Knowledge of assessment, triage, treatment and case management. * Knowledge in various mental health and addiction and harm reduction strategies * Public relation skills with the ability to maintain effective work relationships * Highly developed written and oral communication skills * Ability to work in a multidisciplinary setting. * Establish and maintain good interpersonal relationships * Knowledge of Recovery Philosophy * Ability to identify, implement and evaluate areas of client difficulty. * Ability to provide public/educational presentations * Ability to formulate evidence-based intervention based on clinical presentation Other Information * Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW) The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is the largest employer in Saskatchewan, employing more than 45,000 staff in a dynamic healthcare environment.
