Position Overview The Production Supervisor leads daily crushing and recycling operations, ensuring safe, efficient production while driving team performance, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement. What You'll Be Doing Lead and coordinate daily recycling operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant production of recycled aggregate materials Organize maintenance schedules and coordinate crews and contractors to support crushing, screening, and material processing equipment Ensure maintenance work is completed efficiently with minimal operational impact Foster a strong safety culture by promoting safe work practices and proactively addressing hazards Supervise, coach, and support frontline team members to achieve operational and performance goals Plan and monitor production schedules, material flow, and inventory to meet quality, volume, and cost targets Collaborate with maintenance, logistics, and plant leadership to drive continuous improvement What We Are Looking For Demonstrated capability to lead and engage teams in a recycling, aggregate, construction materials, manufacturing, or industrial production environment Strong knowledge of safety, environmental, and operational best practices, with experience promoting a safety-first culture Experience overseeing mobile equipment, crushing, screening, material processing, or similar heavy industrial operations is strongly preferred Ability to organize priorities, solve problems, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced production environment Effective communication and collaboration skills across all levels of the organization Comfort using production, reporting, and basic computer systems to support day-to-day operations and performance tracking Work Environment Fast-paced, industrial recycling facility with both indoor and outdoor work Hands-on leadership role with regular interaction on the production floor Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety standards is required Schedule flexibility may be needed to support operational requirements 20% Travel throughout AB, MB and SK What We Offer Competitive base salary and participation in our annual incentive plan Industry leading benefits package, including health, dental, and wellness Pension plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributions and RRSP options Participation in the Fleet Vehicle Program Opportunities for training, development, career growth within a global organization Heidelberg Materials welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
