Job Outline The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for technical and clerical functions in the area assigned. Duties include unit-dose or traditional dispensing, medication order entry, medication cart refill, ward stock replenishment, inventory management, sterile products preparation, manufacturing and pre-packaging. All rotations include responsibility for continuous quality improvement and workload measurement Education & Qualifications Pharmacy Technician Diploma from a Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs (CCAPP) accredited college Registered and licensed as a Pharmacy Technician (RPhT designation) with the Ontario College of Pharmacists under Part A, in good standing and authorized to practice A minimum of 1 year related hospital experience is preferred Sound working knowledge of computer applications such as Meditech is required Strong organization and problem solving skills. Demonstrated satisfactory job performance and attendance history required Job Type: Temporary Full-Time months (up to 18 months) Salary: Minimum - $34.04/hour; Maximum - $39.24/hour Vacancy Type: New/Replacement Vacancy Employment at Sinai Health is conditional upon the verification of credentials, completion of a health review, and demonstrating proof of immunity and vaccination status of vaccine-preventable diseases. Requirements

Candidates must have a Pharmacy Technician Diploma from a CCAPP accredited college and be registered with the Ontario College of Pharmacists. A minimum of one year of hospital experience and proficiency in Meditech are preferred.
