Job Purpose Our Burnaby branch is looking for a yard worker to maintain organization of the yard and equipment all while providing support to shop operations. This position is Monday to Friday. What you will do... Loading and unloading of rental equipment Status verification of equipment on the yard Stage equipment for delivery Stage equipment for maintenance and repair activity Ability to diagnose and repair earth moving and aerial equipment Review reservation reports to ensure the correct equipment is ready to rent Wash and light maintenance of equipment, function checks of equipment prior to the next rental Equipment quality inspections Maintain organization on the yard Ability to deal with customers as required Other duties as assigned Skills Results orientated, process and problem-solving skills Team player with initiative and a positive attitude Excellent verbal communication skills Capable of driving equipment Ability to lift up to 50lbs Yard or other operational experience at an equipment rental yard Construction related experience Requirements Valid Class 5 Driver’s license A recent abstract will be required Previous experience repairing small tools considered an asset Previous experience in warehouse or general labour considered an asset Req #: 70943 Type: Headcount Increase Pay Range: $26 - $28 per hour Please be advised that the actual salary offered for any position is subject to the company's sole discretion and may be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, location, and overall fit for the role. The Yard Worker is responsible for organizing the yard, loading and unloading rental equipment, and performing quality inspections. The role also involves basic equipment maintenance, washing, and providing support to shop operations.

A valid Class 5 Driver's license and a recent abstract are required. Previous experience in warehouse work, general labor, or repairing small tools is considered an asset.
