Job summary
Primary Responsibilities: * Perform technical & mechanical tasks such as grinding, chemical cleaning, process treatments, etc. * Safely execute production and service provisions under controlled conditions * Organize work to maintain accountability and traceability * Control and monitoring of critical to quality items * Participation in 5s, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and other continuous improvement initiatives * Work independently and as part of a team in a production environment * Maintain proper documentation and traceability for work performed * Carry out assigned production tasks safely and in accordance with company procedures * Read and interpret blueprints and follow documented work instructions Additional Job Duties: * Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) * Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S practices * Perform other related duties as assigned Core Competencies: * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and utilize inspection equipment (micrometers, verniers, etc.) * Ability to work with co-workers and external contacts in a positive and professional manner * Strong mathematical, verbal and written communications skills * Strong attention to detail * Practical problem-solving ability * Excellent time keeping/attendance habits. Motivated with a “can-do” attitude * Good hand-eye coordination * Natural focus on health and safety, continuous improvement and producing a high quality product in the most efficient manner possible EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND REQUIRED * Minimum high school completion * Technical Diploma WORK EXPERINCE REQUIRED * 1-2 yrs experience assembling small components/hardware installation in a manufacturing environment.
