Job summary

Your New Employer Our client is one of Atlantic Canada's most respected privately owned real estate organizations. For more than 40 years, they have invested in, developed and managed residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use real estate across Canada and the United States. As one of Canada's Best Managed Companies for nine consecutive years, they have built a reputation for long-term ownership, operational excellence and investing in their people. Your Role Reporting to the Controller, you'll sit at the intersection of multi-family property management, leasing and finance, ensuring that the information flowing between those teams is complete, accurate and ready for financial reporting. While your responsibilities will include lease administration, resident account administration, payment processing, rent roll reviews and month-end support, the real purpose of the position is much broader. You'll become the quality control point for residential lease information, helping prevent errors before they reach finance and protecting one of the company's largest revenue streams. Working closely with leasing, operations, and property management, you'll investigate discrepancies, resolve issues, and support process improvements. What Sets You Apart You already have experience supporting multi-family property management and understand how lease administration, resident accounts and financial accuracy all work together. More importantly, you're someone who naturally notices when something doesn't look right. Rather than simply processing information, you ask questions, investigate discrepancies, and ensure everything is accurate before moving it forward. You're organized, detail-oriented and comfortable working across multiple departments. Whether you're reviewing lease documentation, reconciling resident accounts or working with property managers to resolve an issue, you communicate confidently and take pride in getting the details right. Experience with Yardi is certainly an asset, but your judgement, curiosity and attention to detail are what will ultimately make you successful in this role. Why Join? This is an opportunity to join a stable, growing organization that is investing in its future rather than simply filling a vacancy. You'll work alongside experienced finance leaders, gain exposure across finance, leasing and operations, and help build the processes that will support the next phase of the company's residential growth. If you're looking for a role where your work will have a visible impact, where your ideas for improving processes will be welcomed, and where you can grow with an organization committed to long-term ownership and operational excellence, this is an opportunity worth exploring. Compensation Expected compensation is approximately $60,000, together with RRSP matching, comprehensive health and dental benefits, paid time off, company events, on-site parking and the opportunity to build a long-term career with one of Atlantic Canada's most respected real estate organizations. Additional Information This posting is for an existing vacancy. Artificial intelligence-based tools are not used in the screening or selection process for this role. Take the Next Step If you're a detail-oriented property professional who enjoys bringing structure to complex processes, takes pride in ensuring accuracy and wants to play an important role in the growth of a highly respected real estate organization, we'd love to hear from you. If your experience aligns with the qualifications outlined above, we'll be in touch within 48 hours to discuss how HighView can help you make your Best Next Move.
