Job details

Our client, an established residential property owner and manager, seeks an experienced Live-In Superintendent for a well-maintained rental community in Scarborough. This is an opportunity to own day-to-day building operations, build strong relationships with residents, and enjoy the stability of a long-term position that includes a two-bedroom (2) apartment. Your New Employer This established, privately owned residential real estate company takes pride in maintaining its properties and providing residents with a comfortable, well-managed place to call home. With a hands-on approach to property management and a commitment to long-term ownership, the company values dependable employees who take initiative, care about their buildings and develop lasting relationships with residents. This hands-on position suits someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in solving problems, and understands the importance of maintaining a safe, welcoming residential community. What Sets You Apart You bring experience as a Live-In Superintendent, Building Superintendent, or Maintenance Technician in a high-rise apartment environment. You are comfortable completing general plumbing, electrical, carpentry and other routine maintenance repairs within your qualifications. You have a practical understanding of residential building systems, strong troubleshooting skills, and the judgment to recognize when you need specialized contractors. Most importantly, you are reliable, approachable and genuinely enjoy working with residents. You take ownership of your responsibilities and treat the property as though it were your own. Why Join? This is an opportunity to establish yourself in a stable residential community with a long-term owner that values consistency, accountability and pride of ownership. The position includes a two-bedroom apartment, offering the convenience of living where you work in an established Scarborough neighbourhood with access to shopping, parks, schools and transit. Compensation Expected annual compensation of $33,000. This position also includes a two-bedroom apartment and health benefits. Additional Information This posting is for an existing vacancy.
