Role Description The Housekeeping Supervisor is a part-time, on-site role based at Homewood Suites by Hilton in Surrey, BC. This role oversees daily housekeeping operations, including assigning tasks, inspecting guest rooms and public areas, and ensuring cleanliness standards are consistently met. The Housekeeping Supervisor supports laundry operations, maintains inventory of cleaning supplies and linens, and helps coordinate room readiness with the front office. The role includes training and guiding housekeeping team members, addressing guest requests and concerns promptly, and reinforcing safety and hygiene protocols. The supervisor also assists with scheduling, reporting maintenance issues, and supporting a positive work environment aligned with Hilton brand standards. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership and task delegation. Candidates should possess solid Housekeeping skills, with knowledge of cleaning procedures, room inspections, and quality standards. Candidates should possess Laundry-related skills, such as handling linens, operating laundry equipment, and organizing laundry workflows. Candidates should possess Customer Service and Communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members. Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or a similar hospitality environment is preferred. Ability to work on-site in Surrey, BC, including weekends and holidays as needed. Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices; WHMIS or similar training is an asset. Physical ability to perform housekeeping duties, including standing, lifting, and bending for extended periods.
