SCOPE OF POSITION Under the supervision of the Production Supervisor, the apprentice is responsible for preparing and operating the extruder to transform resin into rolls of plastic film. Given the food industry customers served by Hood Packaging and the risks associated with our manufacturing activities, the incumbent must commit to complying with all quality and safety policies to ensure the continued maintenance of SQF certification. FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS * Familiarity with SQF and HACCP principles. * Fluency in French, both spoken and written. * Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and foster teamwork. * Honest, motivated, disciplined, energetic, and punctual. * Strong ability to prioritize, with a sense of responsibility and initiative. * Collaborative, available, good judgment, self-motivated, proactive, methodical, organized, and versatile. * Strong problem-solving skills.
