SCOPE OF POSITION Under the supervision of the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will play a strategic role in analyzing production costs and managing the cost accounting system. The position will also provide key support to the administrative team, particularly in the areas of payroll and accounts payable and receivable. Cost Analysis and Optimization: Maintain and update standard costs; Analyze variances between actual and standard costs, including labor, raw materials, and overhead; Identify opportunities for improvement and recommend practical, actionable solutions; Ensure the accuracy and reliability of cost data and product structures. Management and Collaboration: Monitor inventory levels and identify any discrepancies, anomalies, or potential risks; Collaborate with technical teams to improve and standardize products; Provide support to administrative teams as required; Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems. FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, or Management; 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role; Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail; Advanced proficiency in Excel and other computer applications; Functional bilingualism in French and English, both spoken and written; Strong ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
