Job Purpose The Pharmacy Operations Manager is responsible for the safe, effective, and efficient provision of medication distribution services. Qualifications Must be registered with the New Brunswick College of Pharmacists, licensed to practice in New Brunswick and have demonstrated leadership ability and considerable related work experience (3 years) and/or completion of a post graduate training program. Ability to attend work on a regular basis. Ability to perform the duties of the position. Good work record. Key Responsibilities The Pharmacy Operations Manager is responsible for: Planning, implementing and managing medication distribution services Participating in the development, implementation and maintenance of integrated information systems and equipment Monitoring the quality and safety of the medication distribution service and verifying compliance with standards and regulations Leading medication safety and quality improvement initiatives Providing direction, coaching and decision support to staff Preparing and monitoring operational budgets Participating in the performance management and recruitment processes COMPETENCIES Domains and standards identified by the National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities (NAPRA), 2022. Model Standards of Practice for Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians in Canada. Requirements
