Full Job Description Holiday Inn Express & Suites St. John’s Airport is looking for a Customer Service Expert to join our Guest Services team. The Hotel Porter/Shuttle Driver is a key position within our company. This role will contribute to the overall success of the Hotel by providing superior customer service and attention to detail with meeting room setups and our indoor heated pool. Pay $18.75 per hour Overtime pay Tips/Gratuity Responsibilities Provides superior customer service while shuttling hotel guests to and from the Airport Follows established procedures and policies when completing tasks Cleaning, sanitizing and tidying of all public areas of hotel Acts as an Ambassador for our hotel, including greeting guests and handling basic inquiries Demonstrates a customer service attitude with internal/external contacts Assisting with setup and cleaning of meeting rooms Cleaning, sanitizing and testing of indoor heated swimming pool Complete basic maintenance tasks Assist with daily housekeeping tasks Other duties as required Skills/Knowledge/Experience Minimum 1 year experience in similar position preferred Class 4 Drivers License Required (will provide training and testing if necessary) Advanced communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills Technical aptitude Able to work flexible hours Professional appearance and attitude Bondable Exemplifies IHG’s core values and enjoys working in a culture of accountability Additional Information All positions will receive required training to fulfill duties & responsibilities A variety of benefits, including competitive wages & benefits, employee discounts, training & development, career advancement opportunities & more! Provide superior customer service by shuttling guests to and from the airport and acting as a hotel ambassador. Maintain hotel cleanliness by sanitizing public areas, setting up meeting rooms, and managing the indoor pool.

A Class 4 Drivers License is required, and at least one year of similar experience is preferred. Candidates must possess strong communication skills, a professional attitude, and be bondable.
