The hotel features a dining room and a meeting room that can be reserved for family gatherings, corporate meetings, and special events. Team members work in a guest-focused environment that values hospitality, comfort, and personalized service. Role Description The Duty Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Hotel Le Versailles in Saint-Sauveur-des-Monts, QC. This role oversees daily hotel operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth front desk activities, guest check-in and check-out, and prompt resolution of guest concerns. The Duty Manager coordinates with housekeeping and maintenance to uphold room quality standards and safety regulations, and assists in managing reservations, group bookings, and event setups in the dining and meeting rooms. The role includes supervising staff on duty, handling cash and reports, monitoring occupancy and revenue opportunities, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere throughout the property. The Duty Manager also supports adherence to hotel policies and provides coaching and guidance to team members to uphold service excellence. Qualifications Experience in hotel or hospitality operations, with prior supervisory or front office leadership responsibilities. Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to handle guest inquiries and issues calmly and professionally. Organizational and time-management abilities to oversee multiple tasks, coordinate departments, and manage busy periods effectively. Solid communication skills in English; French language skills are a strong asset for interacting with guests and staff. Basic understanding of hotel property management systems (PMS), reservation processes, and cash-handling procedures. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by hotel operations. Attention to detail and a focus on cleanliness, safety, and quality standards in guest rooms and public areas. Relevant education in hospitality management or a related field, or equivalent work experience, is preferred.
