About this role We are recruiting for an Electrical Planner to join our Project Planning Services team. This position is a great opportunity for those with a background in electrical construction. As part of our Project Planning Services team, you'll blend your electrical construction experience with industry-leading software to support our field teams at each stage of the project lifecycle. From pre-construction coordination and prefabrication design to installation and commissioning, we partner with field teams to provide accurate and compliant designs, ensuring efficient installation of electrical infrastructure. This position is Remote and you must reside in Canada. Here's how your role will strengthen our team. Your responsibilities Produce installation drawings for field teams to allow for efficient install of electrical systems on a project Interpret construction drawings including electrical, architectural, mechanical and structural Collaborate with field teams to adjust plans based on site conditions and real-time feedback Coordinate our electrical infrastructure requirements with other design and trade teams Utilize planning software and digital tools to produce high-quality installation packages Your experience and skills Apprentices and Journeypersons with a strong interest in planning and coordination Minimum 2-3 years of field experience with conduit bending & racking, wire installation, and distribution installation are assets Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solution-focused mindset Excellent communication and collaboration skills Passion for precision, research, and technical detailing Ability to read and interpret construction drawings confidently Organized, adaptable, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment Comfortable working with computers and eager to learn tools including Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, and Revizto Strong understanding of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) About Houle As BC's leading electrical contractor and systems integrator, we believe in delivering safe, reliable power for the future. Pay Range: $38 - $46 per hour plus a competitive total compensation package. Actual pay will be commensurate with experience, skills and overall match to the position offered.
