The Opportunity We're seeking an experienced Barista to deliver exceptional coffee and hospitality at House of McGrath. You'll prepare high-quality beverages while supporting front-of-house service and creating a warm, welcoming experience for every guest. Perfect for hospitality professionals with strong barista skills and previous experience as a server, busser, or hostess. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve espresso-based beverages, coffee, tea, and other menu items with consistency and attention to quality. Provide warm, attentive guest service while taking orders and responding to guest requests. Support front-of-house operations, including serving, bussing, seating guests, and maintaining smooth service during peak times. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, equipment, service areas, and guest spaces. Restock supplies and ensure the bar is prepared for efficient daily service. Work closely with servers, hosts, kitchen staff, and management to create a seamless guest experience. Follow health/safety protocols and assist with opening/closing duties. Qualifications 1+ years of professional barista experience. Previous experience as a server, busser, hostess, or in a similar front-of-house restaurant role. Strong knowledge of espresso preparation and coffee service. Friendly, professional demeanor with strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to stay organized and calm under pressure in a fast-paced setting. Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to support different areas of service as needed. Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, holidays.
