Corporate discount vouchers for friends and family visiting Scandinave Spa Staff accommodation, based on availability Flexible Schedule Tasks & Responsibilities: Maintain the quality of the spa site to the Scandinave Spa Standards for our guests Assist in guiding guests through their Scandinave Spa visit with a thorough knowledge of all of our spa features Be pro-active in anticipating guests’ needs Maintain cleanliness and quality of the entire site including, but not limited to, cleanliness and order of bathrooms, shower stalls, locker rooms, Massage Pavilion, and the Lobby. Optimize the spa ambience by ensuring Scandinave Spa policies are followed Assist with any guests’ issues or concerns that arise and, if required, seek support from your Team Leader/Supervisor and/or Spa Experience & Housekeeping Manager Perform Technical Duties: Ensure quality of all pools: test water samples, calculate and add chemicals as needed, monitor temperatures, and maintain cleanliness Maintain sauna fire and ambience fireplace temperatures Monitor steam room and solarium temperatures Parking lot duties: Direct guests where to park if required Be the first point of contact for guests on arrival, provide information of any waitlists Perform opening and closing procedures on site All other tasks requested of you for the smooth and efficient function of the Scandinave Spa Whistler Prerequisites: You love to be outdoors, can be on your feet all day and walk up/down steps Previous customer service experience preferred Energetic and positive team player Excellent communication skills, ability to remain calm and professional at all times Proactive, creative problem-solving skills Able to lift 20kg Previous experience with water quality testing and maintenance is not required – training will be provided Clear criminal record check Available to work full-time hours including evenings and weekends #WHISPA23

Requirements

Candidates should have previous customer service experience and the ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting 20kg. A clear criminal record check and availability for full-time hours, including evenings and weekends, are required.
