Role: Graduate Quant Developer / Quantitative Researcher Location: Montreal, Canada Compensation: Competitive First-Year Compensation Sector: Financial Services Overview We’re partnering with a technology-focused financial firm looking for a talented graduate or early-career professional to join a quantitative technology team in Montreal. You’ll be working alongside experienced developers, researchers and trading professionals, using programming, data and quantitative problem-solving to help build and support technology used within financial markets. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to production systems while also contributing to projects that enhance and develop the firm’s trading infrastructure. What you’ll be doing Build and enhance software used to support automated trading and quantitative strategies Analyse and work with substantial datasets across research and live environments Investigate system behaviour, troubleshoot issues and help improve overall performance Get involved in technical initiatives aimed at developing new capabilities across the trading platform What we’re looking for Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or another quantitative STEM subject Strong programming ability in Python, C++, Java or a similar language Excellent analytical thinking and a methodical approach to solving complex problems Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-moving technical environment If you’re a technically strong graduate or early-career professional looking to build a career at the intersection of software, quantitative finance and trading, apply now or get in touch for a confidential conversation.
