Pay Range: $75,000-$85,000 We have an opening for an Industrial / Manufacturing Engineer working with our Manufacturing Engineering Team as outlined below: Role Description Design parts and assemblies by applying engineering principles, ensuring design for assembly, functionality, manufacturability, safety, ergonomics, cost efficiency, and quality throughout the development process Perform 3D modeling of parts and assemblies using Unigraphics NX, conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles Collaborate with senior engineers and external suppliers to troubleshoot and solve engineering challenges using manufacturing and design process methodologies Observe and conduct time studies of end-to-end manufacturing processes to develop production operation sequences and work instructions, while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement Design and optimize the arrangement of assembly and manufacturing equipment to ensure the most efficient and productive factory layout Manage technical projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project objectives Participate in product design and process improvement activities to enhance efficiency, quality, and manufacturability In This Role, You Can Expect To Gain practical experience in various areas including design, project management, and manufacturing engineering, providing a well-rounded engineering foundation Develop and strengthen a range of technical and interpersonal skills through diverse work experiences and collaboration with team members across different functions and organizational levels Opportunity to learn Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Standard Work) Receive training on various software including Unigraphics NX, AutoCAD, Ansys FEA, GD&T, ERP, etc. Become an integrated member of our Manufacturing Engineering team Skills And Abilities Interpret and analyze technical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics accurately to understand dimensions, tolerances, materials, and assembly instructions Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively gather information, ask the right questions, and collaborate to solve engineering problems Solid understanding of engineering principles and their practical application in real-world scenarios Deliver clear, confident, and impactful presentations to communicate effectively Highly reliable and self-directed, capable of taking broad tasks and driving them to successful completion Strong observational skills to detect inefficiencies and recommend actionable improvements Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage tasks under tight deadlines or high-pressure environment.
