Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (React / Next.js / TypeScript) We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our product engineering team. You'll be building and shipping customer-facing features across our modern TypeScript stack, working closely with product and design, and integrating with a variety of external financial and business systems. We're a fast-moving team, so we're looking for someone who enjoys solving real business problems, writing clean, maintainable code, and taking ownership from idea through production. What You'll Be Working With • TypeScript • React 19 • Next.js (App Router) • PostgreSQL + Drizzle ORM • Supabase • Tailwind CSS • shadcn/ui & Radix UI • Vercel • Various third-party APIs (payroll, accounting, CRM, lending) Core Requirements TypeScript & React (Expert) • Strong experience building production applications using modern TypeScript and React. • Deep understanding of React hooks, context, component composition, state management, and rendering patterns. • Comfortable working with strict TypeScript typing and designing maintainable, type-safe codebases. Next.js (App Router) Strong understanding of modern Next.js development, including: • Server Components vs Client Components • Route Groups • Route Handlers (app/api) • Server Actions • Middleware • Caching and data-fetching strategies • Performance optimization PostgreSQL & ORM • Experience designing relational database schemas. • Strong SQL fundamentals. • Experience using ORMs (Drizzle preferred, Prisma or similar also acceptable). • Comfortable managing migrations and building reusable data access layers. Authentication & Authorization Experience implementing secure authentication flows, including: • Session management • Protected routes • Middleware-based authentication • Role-based authorization • User metadata and permissions Experience with Supabase Auth is a strong plus. Third-Party API Integration You'll regularly integrate with external platforms such as payroll providers, CRMs, accounting software, and lending systems. You should be comfortable with: • Reading and implementing third-party API documentation • OAuth and authentication flows • Webhooks • Retry strategies • Error handling • Working with unreliable external services • Building resilient integrations UI Development • Build responsive, accessible user interfaces using Tailwind CSS. • Experience with component libraries such as shadcn/ui, Radix UI, or similar. • Ability to translate designs into polished production interfaces. Nice-to-Have Experience AI / LLM Applications Experience building AI-powered product features using tools such as: • OpenAI APIs • Vercel AI SDK • Structured outputs with Zod • Prompt engineering and context construction We currently use LLMs to power AI-assisted budgeting and financial workflows. Data Visualization Experience building dashboards using libraries such as: • Recharts • Interactive tables • Financial reporting interfaces • Analytics dashboards Cloud & Deployment Experience deploying production applications using Vercel, including: • Environment configuration across multiple stages • Edge Functions • Serverless Functions • Blob Storage • Redis caching Fintech / Accounting Domain Experience working with financial products is a significant advantage. Familiarity with concepts such as: • Profit & Loss (P&L) • Payroll • Cash Flow • Financial reporting • Accounting workflows What We're Looking For • Strong ownership mentality and product thinking. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment. • Able to independently investigate problems and propose solutions. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Passion for building high-quality software that solves real customer problems.
