The Storeroom Attendant is responsible for but not limited to the following duties: Checking in all incoming product and guest packages. Responsible for shipping guest packages and in house needs. Receiving of all food and non-food deliveries for the hotel. Ordering of both food and non-food supplies Creating and receiving purchase orders Organizing, storing and rotating of storeroom inventory Filling department requisitions Receiving, logging and storage of incoming guest packages Shifts may include opening shifts starting at 6:30am and/ or closing shifts ending at 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. Starting wage for this position is $26.70 per hour, after 6 months wage is $31.15 per hour, after 1 year wage is $35.60 per hour. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization. Qualifications Qualifications A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to lift a moderate amount of weight. Must be available to work various shifts from 6:30am to 4:30pm. Must have refined verbal and written communication skills. Previous receiving and purchasing experience preferred. Knowledge of food products, liquor, wine and beer preferred. Must possess excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Opera, other purchasing/receiving order system) Must be able to communicate with a diverse group of individuals (co-workers, suppliers, hotel guests) in a professional manner at all times. Must be able to provide genuine service to all guests. Must be organized and able to multi-task and prioritize. Previous hotel experience is an asset. Must have good organization skills. Must be able to work independently with minimum or no supervision. Must be an excellent team player with a positive and helpful attitude. Must be physically fit to perform and complete all duties as required. Must have a good command of the English language. Knowledge of a second language is considered an asset. Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to): Constant standing and walking throughout shift. Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying up to 50lbs. Frequent kneeling and bending Frequent reaching above head level Occasional ascending or descending stairs and ramps Capable of performing repetitious duties

Requirements
Candidates should have a desire to serve others in a fast-paced environment and the ability to lift up to 50lbs. Previous experience in receiving, purchasing, or hotel operations is preferred along with proficiency in computer systems.
