This role would be based in Vancouver and would have an in office requirement of 2-3 days in office per week. _____________________________________________________________________________ What you’ll accomplish with us As an Account Specialist 1, you’ll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities: Analyze and process client/broker premium and commission accounts. Control high volume data received from the bank for client payments, investigating discrepancies and non-payment with a focus on customer retention. Daily and monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts. Preparation of daily bank deposit, including generation of corresponding journals. Collaborate with other team members and business units to streamline and document processes. Generation of client refund cheques. Coordination with other Account Specialists to determine rotation of required office tasks. Analyze financial control reports and ensure appropriate action is taken. Preparation of accounting entries and/or manual premium adjustments.
