Great Team: Be part of a collaborative culture focused on quality, safety, and continuous improvement Position Summary The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating transportation, shipments, customs documentation, delivery schedules, and job costing. This role works closely with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to ensure materials and equipment are delivered efficiently and on schedule. The ideal candidate has previous logistics experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and experience with U.S. freight, customs, and tariffs. Duties and Responsibilities Arrangement of transportation of material and equipment from the suppliers and to customers (LTL, FTL and partial trucks) Request quotes from carriers and ensure competitive rates are obtained. Coordinate delivery with customers, answer customer queries. Customs documentation for US bound shipments. Coordinate and monitor US freight, customs, tariffs, and related requirements. Monitoring shipment costs and timelines. Establish a system for appointments for pick ups with shipping department. Address and resolve shipment issues Job Cost Tracking Prepare forms and templates for costing using MS Excel. Ensure all departments are providing the required forms for job cost. Monthly reporting for job costing. Assist with other administrative tasks as required Job Qualifications Post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain, or a related field. Previous experience in logistics is required. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Experience with US freight, customs, tariffs, and related shipping requirements is preferred. Incredible attention to detail Ability to work with an ERP system Proficient in Microsoft Office to update reports on an ongoing basis.
