This position directly contributes to the company’s financial and organizational performance by ensuring accurate and rigorous financial information management, supporting accounting processes, and contributing to informed decision-making. Key Responsibilities Perform the full accounting cycle, including monthly and annual closings; Prepare monthly financial statements and analyze variances; Prepare GST/QST, CNESST, CNT reports, as well as tax slips and forms; Prepare accounting journal entries (group insurance, prepaid expenses, accrued expenses); Manage the transactional accounting team; Monitor sub-ledgers, including inventory, accounts receivable, and accounts payable; Ensure proper month-end follow-up and invoice reconciliation; Perform various tasks specific to the accounting department; Perform any other related duties as required. What We’re Looking For DEC in Accounting and Management; Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (strong asset); Proficiency in MS Office, with knowledge of Microsoft 365 and accounting software; Excellent written and spoken French; Intermediate English; Strong attention to detail and accuracy; Excellent organizational skills, autonomy, analytical mindset, and attention to detail; Ability to manage priorities effectively and adapt to a variety of tasks; Open-minded, flexible, positive, and results-oriented attitude.
