Job summary
Our client located in the Vaughan area is looking to expand their team by adding a Manager, Valuations. This role is created due to past, current and future expansion. In this role, your main function will be in valuations as you will be the subject matter expert within the Reporting team. ***This is a hybrid role requiring you to work in office 2-3 days a week Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for the following areas; Manage PPA (Purchase Price Allocations) Lead Valuation of Intangible Assets Impairment Testing Financial Statement Disclosures Maintain SOx Internal Controls Be the primary contract for external auditors Supporting the Reporting team during busy times To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications; 5+ years valuation experience Understanding of SOx environments CBV is required (CPA is a very nice to have) Experience from public accounting or industry (or combination of public accounting & industry)
What you’ll do

Requirements
Candidates must have over 5 years of valuation experience and a CBV certification. Experience in public accounting or industry and a CPA designation are highly valued.
