iOS Developer

Role Title: iOS Developer Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid-3 Days Onsite) Duration: 6-12 Months Contract with possible extension Job Summary: Seeking an experienced iOS Developer with 6-8 years of hands-on experience building and maintaining high-quality iOS applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Swift, iOS SDK, Xcode, UIKit/SwiftUI, and REST API integration, with experience working in Agile teams. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and maintain iOS applications. Build responsive UI using UIKit and/or SwiftUI. Integrate applications with REST APIs and backend services. Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code. Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Participate in code reviews and technical discussions. Manage source code using Git. Collaborate with Product, UX/UI, QA, and Backend teams. Support application deployments and production releases. Contribute to Agile/Scrum ceremonies and documentation. Essential Skills: Swift iOS SDK Xcode UIKit and/or SwiftUI REST APIs Git Agile/Scrum Required Qualifications: 6-8 years of iOS application development experience. Strong proficiency in Swift, iOS SDK, and Xcode. Experience with UIKit and/or SwiftUI. Hands-on experience with REST APIs and JSON. Knowledge of MVC, MVVM, or similar architectures. Experience with Git version control. Understanding of asynchronous programming and data persistence. Experience with App Store deployment processes. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Objective-C. Knowledge of RxSwift or Combine. Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions). Exposure to Firebase and Push Notifications. Familiarity with XCTest and automated testing. Knowledge of mobile security and accessibility standards. Experience with Maps, Location, or Camera APIs. Exposure to Android/Kotlin development.

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS applications using Swift and modern UI frameworks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate REST APIs and optimize application performance.

Requires 6-8 years of iOS development experience with strong proficiency in Swift, Xcode, and UIKit/SwiftUI. Candidates should be experienced in Agile environments and familiar with MVC/MVVM architectures.
