WCS is looking for a full-time (40 hours per week) Class 5 Driver with the daily objective to safely complete designated routes in our Utility vehicles. This positions services underground waste and recycling bins and brings it from underground to street-side so that our Front Load trucks can perform the pick-up/dump onsite. Responsibilities Perform daily pull-up service for Front Load trucks by entering underground parkades with a pickup truck, manually bringing large garbage and recycling bins out to street level for collection, and returning them afterward. Navigate tight, low-clearance, and high-traffic parkades – this requires advanced maneuvering skills in confined spaces with limited visibility. Load and unload heavy bins manually, often pushing or pulling them 60–80 times per day. Safely secure bins to the back of the utility vehicle and manage multiple stops under strict time constraints – speed, strength, and focus are essential. Maintain strong communication with dispatch and other drivers to ensure efficient route completion. Conduct daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections. Demonstrate professionalism, safety awareness, and attention to detail at all times. Perform other duties as assigned. Shifts available: 5X8 Shift Monday to Friday – 4:30am – 06:00am start. Other duties as assigned. To Be Successful Class 5 License. 3 years of commercial vehicle driving experience required. Experience in the waste management industry is preferred. Ability to work in a diverse and evolving group dynamic. Ability to work in a demanding environment, while maintaining a positive and respectful work atmosphere with the other employees. Ability to work with little to no supervisions at times with the added expectation to work in a team environment.
