SAP Materials Management Specialist

Material Master Senior Analyst Location: Markham, Ontario CANADA On site needed 12+ Months Contract Interviews will be set up in the week of Aug 25th. Role Summary The Material Master Senior Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient Material Master Data processes through data governance, data quality management, operational oversight, and continuous improvement. This role partners with business stakeholders, data owners, and third-party teams to drive audit readiness, process standardization, automation, issue resolution, and effective master data governance. Key Responsibilities Monitor standing DQTs; Partner with Enterprise team to create new DQTs and prevent reoccurrence. Monitor & deliver governance, compliance, audit readiness, and SLA performance activities. Serve as the Data Governance Lead for assigned processes, providing guidance to Canada Commercial & warehouse teams on prioritization, change management, escalations, and compliance requirements. Utilize Qlik dashboards, metrics, scorecards, and reporting to support performance management and decision-making. Own and maintain SOPs, Work Instructions, governance documentation, and training materials. Lead operational and governance meetings with stakeholders, data owners, and third-party partners. Support audits, compliance reviews, product launches, and business transformation initiatives. Ensure effective issue management through root cause analysis, NC/CAPA management, and corrective action implementation. Highly Desired Skillsets End to End Material Management Insight to translate data into operational processes. Strong detail-oriented, Data Quality mindset with experience in Material Management. Experience of audit-ready documentation and effective compliance controls, preferred. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field. Material Master and SAP. Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting Master Data Management operations and governance. ERP/MDM experience (SAP MM/MDG, S/4HANA, Oracle, or similar). Knowledge of data governance frameworks, workflow tools, and ticketing systems. Experience operating in regulated environments (SOX, GMP, FDA, EMA, ISO). Strong analytical, reporting, and automation skills (Power BI, Excel, SQL, Power Query, etc.).

The role is responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant Material Master Data processes through governance, quality management, and operational oversight. Key duties include monitoring data quality, maintaining SOPs, and leading governance meetings with stakeholders and third-party partners.

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and proven experience with SAP Material Master and stakeholder management. Preferred qualifications include experience with MDM tools like SAP MDG or S/4HANA and knowledge of regulated environments such as SOX or GMP.
