Job details
We are looking for a Guidewire Developer for a 6 months contract with high possibility of extension. Role ideally is hybrid in Downtown Toronto, but open for full remote. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, configure, and maintain solutions within the Guidewire platform. Work closely with business and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. Configure and maintain Guidewire Product Model components. Support Home insurance Line of Business functionality and related business processes. Participate in development, testing, troubleshooting, and production support activities. Review technical requirements and translate them into scalable Guidewire solutions. Collaborate with other developers, architects, QA, and business stakeholders. Follow established development standards, best practices, and SDLC processes. Required Qualifications Strong hands-on Guidewire development experience. Experience working with the Home insurance Line of Business. Hands-on experience with Guidewire Product Model configuration. Current Guidewire certification. Strong understanding of Guidewire architecture, configuration, and development practices. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Ability to quickly understand existing applications and contribute to an established development team.
