Operations Analyst -- Banking Contract Duration: 6 months Extension: Possible Location: Toronto, ON Work Model: Hybrid – 4 days per week in office, Monday–Thursday Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM Start Date: September 28, 2026 About the Role We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Operations Analyst to join a collaborative financial services team supporting day-to-day operational activities. This role is well suited for someone with 1–2 years of banking or financial operations experience, strong communication skills, and excellent attention to detail. The position involves a high volume of outbound calls, follow-up activities, and accurate data entry within internal systems. Key Responsibilities Make outbound calls to financial institutions regarding client transfers. Conduct timely and accurate follow-up on transfers from other financial institutions. Update internal systems and maintain accurate records. Perform data entry and case management activities. Work with imaging, ticketing, and internal case management systems. Track daily activities and meet established productivity and accuracy targets. Communicate professionally with external financial institutions and stakeholders. Participate in daily team huddles and collaborate with team members to resolve issues. Handle customer information in accordance with established privacy and security requirements. Qualifications University degree or equivalent education and experience. 1–2 years of experience in banking, financial services, or financial operations. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Previous experience making professional outbound phone calls is strongly preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume environment. Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new systems and processes. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Comfortable working with spreadsheets, including those containing macros. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment. Nice-to-Have Call centre or high-volume phone experience. Wealth management or investment industry experience. Experience with ticketing, case management, imaging, or workflow systems. Previous experience with financial services operations. Bilingual English/French.
