Role Description The Commercial Sales Representative is a full-time, hybrid role based in Ontario, Canada, with a mix of onsite client visits and some work from home. In this role, the representative will identify and develop new commercial business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with contractors, architects, distributors, and other key stakeholders, and promote Inline Fiberglass Ltd.’s product offerings. Daily activities include prospecting and qualifying leads, preparing quotes and proposals, delivering product presentations, and supporting customers through the sales cycle from initial contact to post-sale follow-up. The role involves collaborating with internal teams such as production, logistics, and customer service to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time, as well as tracking sales activities in CRM tools and reporting on pipeline and performance. The Commercial Sales Representative will also monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to help refine sales strategies and support continuous improvement. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development, preferably in building materials, construction, manufacturing, or related industries. Strong customer relationship skills, including the ability to engage diverse commercial clients, understand their needs, and provide appropriate product solutions. Solid communication and negotiation abilities, with clear, professional verbal and written communication and effective presentation skills. Proficiency with sales tools and technology, such as CRM systems, email, virtual meeting platforms, and basic office software (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Good organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage a sales territory, prioritize leads, and follow through on commitments. Comfort working in a hybrid environment, with readiness to travel within Ontario for client meetings and site visits as needed. Knowledge of commercial construction processes, building codes, or specifications is an asset, along with an interest in fiberglass or energy-efficient building products. Post-secondary education in business, marketing, construction management, or a related field is beneficial; equivalent experience will be considered. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for in-person client visits.
