The salary range for this position is $93,000 - $109,000, which will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications. The Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Team Lead is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of TPM practices across the assigned manufacturing or operations area. This role drives equipment reliability, operational excellence, and a culture of ownership through structured maintenance strategies, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives. The TPM Leader partners closely with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and EHS teams to improve asset performance, reduce losses, and support safe, efficient, and sustainable operations. Key Responsibilities * Lead the implementation and further development of the TPM strategy in alignment with business and operational objectives. * Drive initiatives to improve equipment availability, reliability, maintainability, and overall operational performance. * Promote TPM pillars such as autonomous maintenance, planned maintenance, focused improvement, and education & training. * Facilitate cross-functional problem-solving activities to identify root causes of equipment losses and implement sustainable corrective actions. * Maintain the process and building equipment in operation to ensure maximum availability to maximize production efficiency. * Develop and implement a preventative and predictive maintenance program in Fiix. * Review and update all aspects of the Fiix CMMS. * Assist with troubleshooting and solving problems related to equipment downtime. * Assisting in investigations through data compilation and statistical analysis to determine the root cause for both special and common cause events. * Contributing to process improvement projects, such as Lean and Six Sigma initiatives. * Involvement in change management activities. * Use of CMMS software (Fiix) to align complex maintenance tasks with operation requirements * Acquiring and using technical knowledge to support growth in the overall SQDCM manufacturing processes. * Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations, policies, and procedures. * Perform daily workplace inspections to keep the maintenance department “audit ready” at all times. * Coordinate the purchase of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies to ensure production needs are met. * Monitor maintenance costs and operate within the established maintenance budget. * Assisting with the development of our MRO spare parts strategy and continuous update of our BOM. * Monitor and analyze key performance indicators such as OEE, downtime, breakdown frequency, maintenance compliance, and cost of maintenance. * Coach and train operators, technicians, and leaders in TPM principles, tools, and best practices. * Drive a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and operational discipline. * Collaborate with site leadership to prioritize improvement opportunities and ensure alignment with plant targets. Qualifications / Requirements * College Diploma or Degree in a Mechanical or Electrical Technologist Program would be an asset. * Red-Seal ticket with technical background would be an asset * Strong relationship builder who can effectively work cross-functionally. * Formal training or certification in TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Reliability Engineering. * Experience in change management and capability building within operations teams. * Experience with CMMS and Microsoft Office. * 5 years in a similar industry or Manufacturing setting with supervisory experience. Desired Characteristics * Possesses strong analytical and organizational skills * Desire to learn about the technical process of Maintenance for Manufacturing (MFM) * Professional demeanor/customer service oriented * Ability to multi-task, and deliver key objectives within established timelines * Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams * Proficient in Microsoft software, such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint * Experience with Oracle and/or other ERP systems preferred What Success Looks Like * Increased equipment uptime and improved OEE performance. * Reduction in unplanned downtime and recurring equipment failures. * Stronger operator ownership and adherence to maintenance standards. * Sustainable TPM routines embedded in daily operations. * Measurable contribution to safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
