Job summary

Insight Global is seeking multiple Aircraft Assemblers for a large Aerospace company in Halifax, NS. This role will be onsite 5x/week, for a 3-month engagement, with a possibility of extension. As an Aircraft Assembler, you will be responsible for supporting aircraft assembly activities in accordance with approved engineering drawings, work instructions, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Include: Installing, routing, securing, and terminating aircraft wiring harnesses and electrical systems Performing assembly and installation activities on new aircraft builds and aircraft modification programs Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and installation instructions Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with aerospace quality standards and approved manufacturing processes Following Leonardo Helicopters program requirements and installation procedures Supporting inspections, quality audits, and regulatory compliance activities Troubleshooting installation issues and escalating concerns when required Adhering to all workplace safety, security, and Controlled Goods Program requirements REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 3+ years of experience performing aircraft assembly, aircraft installation, or aerospace manufacturing work Formal assembler, installer, or aircraft manufacturing training from an OEM, aerospace manufacturer, military program, or equivalent training organization. Experience interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and assembly documentation. Controlled Goods Clearance Have or eligible for Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Experience working on brand-new aircraft builds Experience supporting Leonardo Helicopters programs Experience working for aerospace organizations such as Bombardier, Airbus, Boeing, IMP Aerospace, PAL Aerospace, De Havilland, or similar manufacturers Compensation: $38/hr to $52/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. We may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position.
